Curriculum
A curriculum that builds in-demand expertise
180 total credits
10 courses including the final project
Our curriculum combines theory and practice, balancing conceptual understanding with hands-on making. You will not just use AI as a tool, but also as a collaborator within your projects. The programme is structured around a group-based model and project-based design sprints, where you will rapidly prototype and refine creative AI concepts.
The Artificial Intelligence and Creative Practice MSc culminates in a major creative AI project. This is your opportunity to produce a substantial, original piece of work – such as a film, interactive installation or multimedia artwork – that elevates your practice and builds your professional portfolio.
What you’ll learn
Participate in group-based project sprints
An industry rarity, students work in creative cohorts from day one. This group-based structure helps you rapidly test concepts and build a portfolio of work in a collaborative, studio-like environment.
Benefit from proven excellence and creative legacy
Goldsmiths is an internationally recognised school for creative innovation and boundary-pushing arts education, with a strong record of producing ground-breaking work in AI and film and AI-driven music technology.
Build and showcase a major project
Bring your final AI project to a public symposium, attended by key industry partners. The event gives you the opportunity to present polished AI-driven films, prototypes, and artwork to gain feedback, recognition, and real-world exposure.
