Goldsmiths’ alumni who wish to study a selected online programme may be eligible for a 10% tuition fee discount. This discount is typically applied either as a 10% reduction to the total tuition fee or proportionally across module payments.
Here’s how it works:
The award is available to the following Goldsmiths graduates:
- Home and international graduates (full-time and part-time)
- Study Abroad graduates
- Graduates of programmes validated by Goldsmiths, University of London at a partner institution
- Goldsmiths, University of London Distance Learning programme graduates who have been awarded a BA in English, BSc in Computing and Information Systems, or a BSc in Creative Computing
Please note that the alumni discount is not available to graduates of short courses and applies to selected online programmes only. Eligibility for the alumni discount is reviewed and, where appropriate, approved as part of the application process.

Find out moreEmployer tuition reimbursement
If you believe your employer may be willing to support your studies, it’s worth starting the conversation early. Building a strong case — and showing how your chosen programme will benefit both you and the organisation — can significantly strengthen your request.
Employers often look for a clear return on their investment. This may include applying your new skills within the business, committing to remain with the company for a set period of time, or agreeing to repay the fees if you leave within an agreed timeframe.
Speak with your manager or HR about potential tuition support or reimbursement, clearly outlining how your studies will benefit your role and the wider organisation. Formal approval is required before proceeding, as you’ll need confirmation of financial support (including amount and duration), verification of your employment status, a statement linking the qualification to your professional development, and an authorised signatory to prepare the Sponsor Authorisation Letter.
Where more than five students are joining the same employer at the same time, we will accept a 10% reduction in tuition fees. This discount will always be discussed, and if deemed eligible, it will be approved as part of the application process. Please speak with us to find out more.

Most discounts cannot be combined with other offers. For example, the early bird discount, alumni discount and refer-a-friend discount are standalone offers and cannot be used together. However, certain scholarships may be stackable with discounts — contact our admissions team to discuss your specific situation and determine which funding combination maximises your savings.
Both you and your friend will each receive a 10% discount applied to your next module fee once your friend successfully enrols and completes a module in a Goldsmiths online programme. Your friend must not already be in our application system for the discount to qualify. The discount will be processed by Risepoint, our online course partner, and cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
To qualify for the 10% early bird discount, you must finish all enrolment tasks through MyGoldsmiths and upload all required valid documents before the specified deadline. Note that this is about completing the enrolment process, not about making early payment. Once verified, the discount will be automatically applied to your tuition fees.
